Brilliant:

Interviewer: A quick word about Roberto Mancini, who said Glen Johnson should have been sent off for a two footed challenge.

Gerrard: It's funny because I heard Mancini midweek complaining about Wayne Rooney trying to get a player sent off and now he's doing the same to one of ours. I don't think that quite works.

Ledge.

Indeed.

BTW, did Mancini not appologise for trying to get Skrtel sent off last week? ...

With Biscan it was probably true. 😛

I think a sense of extra pride has awoken in Stevie now that he's playing under Kenny. He's been a beast since he's returned. I can wait till him and Suarez get some games together under their belts! 🙂

Biscan did have the look of an insomniac right enough.

We must have been firing à lot of scouts the last 10 years...or at least we should have been.

yep, & always had just got out of bed hair, like he'd been asleep in the changies & Houllier prodded him at kick off.

He always had that Father Dougal look - as if he was about to ask someone why he was outside wearing shorts.

Anyway, Gerrard was class tonight in every way.

He is indeed utter class. On every level.

But nonetheless, he was fucking knackered and would have been hooked on 70min had the wee man not got injured.

Time is the destroyer of all things.

He honestly reminded me of kenny so much the way he had that half smile & glint in his eye as he said his riposte.

Fuck me, imagine. No, shut up Jon.

It is a joy to see the frowny wrinkle forehead talk 'from the hip' instead of off script. Should happen more often really.

You just know he's getting up when the kids cry in the night whilst madam snores.

Hahaha. So true.

My mates like that. He does the "night shift" & morning feed despite his missus being on maternity & him being in work. Shocking.

Best way to get around that problem is to actually train the baby to sleep during the time the parents sleep. After I our little one was born in October last year - both me and the mrs. honestly thought we were going to die in the second week so - we forced the little one one night to keep awake and go to bed at 11pm like we do, she did not like it but after doing that for like 3 nights in a row - she was regularly going to bed at around 10:30pm/11pm each night and giving us 3+ hours sleep before wanting some cleaning and food and then she was straight to bed again.

Oh yeah - this is about football isn't it ? - regarding SG, still the greatest midfield player I have ever seen in my lifetime and the most complete player I have ever seen - if was a DC comics hero - he would be Superman, if he was a Transformer - he would be Optimus Prime.

Wasn't there a thread a few weeks ago where people were banging on about how Mancini was one of the good managers , handled the tevez , bridge situations well blah blah . We'll what's he done since ? Moaned his fucking arse off , waved an imaginary card to try and get Skrtel sent off (and admitted that was a mistake ) , banged on about Suarez and what we should and should not do in that regards and now had a moan that johnson should have been sent off like Kompany .

He's a fuckwit and getting worse as they struggle ....oh i feel for him , everything is against him and his 350m+ squad . Still want them to win the league like but fuck it wrecks the head that we can't just do it ourselves and not need someone else to beat united .
