I know they've had a good season and great crop young talent coming through, but is that really enough to title them "The best league in the world"?
Thats that old saying,'One swallow does not make a summer'. Is that not the case here?

btw Should we not try to mimic Brossia style of play which isnt built around one player but the whole team? And the pace and accuracy that they pass is sheer breath taking, and it was all done on a shoe string budget.
 
I guess it all depends on how you define "best league in the world".

Bundesliga get a lot right from fan engagement to pricing to producing German players but in terms of the overall talent, entertainment value and competitiveness, is it the best?

I don't really watch enough of it to know. I do know however that no other top league right now has as many good sides with potential as the Premiership - Utd, Chelsea, City, Arsenal, Spurs and us. English teams may have done poorly in Europe this year but that's not going to be the case year on year. All of those teams are pretty strong and have the capability to improve.
 
Highest attendance, high proportion of home players in the squads, both finalists in the CL are German.

Overall I'd say yes because our teams have been shite this year. Next season it starts again.
 
I'd describe the Bundesliga as nice. Nice teams, nice players, very professional, excellent stadia, caring clubs zzzzzzzzzzzzz. The only things they have mildly irritating are some really shit kits and rubbish chants. It's like watching a documentary about Football.

They've no where near enough thugs, racists, adulterers, gambling addicts, rip-off merchants, incompetent officials, out-of-touch administrators or venal and avaricious media to stir any real interest beyond the 'oh look how good are they' brigade.

I am waiting for Platini to come out and say that something needs to be done about the German league as they have 2 teams in the final, oh no he won't 'cos they aren't English.

Germany have 2 teams in Europe the right way thought. Not foreign owned, no stupid wages, mostly german nationals, great youth structures.

Nearly all English top flight couldn't boast 2 of those, let alone all of them.

English clubs can only aspire to have mostly German nationals
