Has anyone maintained any passion or solace from the escapism that is the football computer game.
I'm a massive pro evo fan and have been for years. I've also dabbled in a spot of FM over the years.
But this year. This year it just fucking depresses me. I just can't detatch from reality enough to be able to say 'Whoop I beat United 3-0, that's us top of the league with 6 to play, and Villa's a shoe in for pfa player of the year...' when in reality were being played of the park by fucking Wigan.

Damn you Rafa, on top of everything else you've ruined computer gaming for me.
 
I had a dabble with FIFA 10 but when I went online playing Liverpool, I used to end up playing some Scum
cunt with like 3000 games played.

I used to get whooped like 8-0 so I had to stop playing with Liverpool.
 
hahaha.. i find that when i play as Liverpool i sell the majority of the squad immediately.

whats depressing about FM and other games is how much better our squad looks after one transfer window.. In the real world it doesnt tend to work out.
 
I still do. In fact, this season more than any other, I've consoled myself with smashing someone on Pro Evo straight after many a disappointing game.
 
I dunno how to sell or change any players.

I also got quite angry at having to take Lucas out of the default lineup every time I played.

Change the default lineup before picking a game type (Master League, Exhibition, etc).

Play a ranked game with people who have a similiar rating to you. Liverpool are decent in Fifa. I usually use Inter Milan though.

I've not been able to competely maintain interest, even in pes10 which is aces, in any game cos when I see our squad I hate it. I go to make subs & think, fucking he'll, this is awful.
