Me and my committee are about to start to arduous task of attempting to raise £18k as we are trying to get a full time coach!
Anyway, just wondering if anyone has done any sort of fundraising before and what did they find the most lucrative/ easiest to set up etc?
We've done the standard BBQ and making a bit of money there. We are about to start selling club kit which we are sourcing ourselves for much cheaper than before so that we can make a bit of money that way. I am also thinking of a 24 hour rowing event (on a rowing machine obv!) to draw in some crowds and get donations, maybe get radio/ local news station involved. Apart from other cliche events like car washing and slave auctions I am struggling to think of any more ideas so any hints and tips would be much appreciated!
