I am not sure I am advocating we should sign him, definitely not as a top priority and maybe he's too much like Matip. I just think he's got similarities with Sakho too and would be able to fill that void without being TOO expensive (£10M-ish). If Besiktas are indeed in the market for Skrtel it could mean Kjaer is on the move and England would fit him well.
He'd be cheap alright as I doubt he'd get to play one single game.

I agree, Kjaer would also be some way down my list to be honest, and without knowing too much about Süle, he seems sought after.
Next season we have Matip (the no-nonsense type) and Lovren, the ball-playing defender lined up. So we need at least two more, right? Süle is what type of defender? Vermaelen is obv. 'Lovren'-like.
