Footballing around the land this weekend

Lol Everton, seriously, I have been hoping the same as @Woland above, but I doubt that cum stained club will make 4th.

On another note , I know Chelsea drew today, but they have been on quite an unbeaten run and I have a feeling that team will break mentally under pressure, so dont be surprised if they start dropping points.
How often are your feelings correct?

Anyone want to tell us about city's 1 game winning streak?

Who would have thought the most expencive squad in the history of football, and who has rotated more then any team in the league - are top and crusing through a pandemic.
That would be ny comment to the pundits currently sucking off City.

We've just got to focus on getting back to our old form, having Jota back and Fabinho back in the middle gives me hopes, this teams good enough to go on a winning run, none of the other teams above except City are.

If we do, and thats a massive if, I'm confident we can make up the ground on Everton, West Ham, and maybe even Leicester considering their next 3 games, but Chelsea are gone, and Spurs mini purple patch concerns me.

The loss against Chelsea was crippling, but those three points from Fulham are looking massive right now

Spurs just lost with Son picking up an injury and Lamela sent off. We're dickheads if we don't win tomorrow

I am confused whether playing in Europa League is a good thing in the next season or better to stay away and concentrate on winning the league in the next season. I know, I will take EPL everyday if that is what it means without having to play Europa League.

Most of the time I am right, especially about other teams. But I can tell you something else...the way city play..they are in my eyes always one opposition counter press from conceding a goal.

My first reaction when I saw the score in the Utd v West Ham game was that Craig Pawson was the referee.

But now I see we have him tomorrow so he'll probably score for Wolves.

United & Leicester are gone (Leicester : 13 pts ahead with one game more played but just 9 games to go for them). We are not going to come close to catching either of them.

Now we've got Jota back and Fabs in midfield it should make a difference and if we are going to get Top 4 then we would have enough to get & stay ahead of West Ham, Everton, Villa, Spurs & Arsenal.

Spurs are only 2 points ahead and have a very tough run-in : Villa (H), United (H), Everton (A), City (A) and Leicester (A) plus Leeds (A) and Newcastle (A) who will be battling for their PL survival.

Chelsea are the only team in the Top 4 we can catch. Win against Wolves and we are 5 points behind them (but -8 inferior GD). However Chelsea have West Ham (H), Arsenal (H), City (A), Leicester (H) and Villa (A) to come. They don't have an easy route staying in the Top 4.

Away at Arsenal and United will likely see us drop points unless we have really turned the corner and at home to Villa and away at Leeds will be tough matches too.

We are not getting 4th.

Not worth a new thread, but West Ham dropping points from being 3-0 up is helpful for out slim chances of 4th.

Just the 3 points behind them now.

I actually wanted united to win as I think if it was a man ctiy vs man united game the we would see man city being ruffled a bit. Hopefully Chelsea will fuck up citys dream of the quad.

All I really care about is our slim chance of 4th. Hopefully this extra game as well as the champions league will distract them sufficiently to see a slip up or two in the league.

What happens to the teams in the CL next season if we win the CL and Arsenal win the Europa League - do 6 English teams get in?

Have to say, Ezri Konsa is looking almost world-class. There are not many better defenders than him in the EPL.

Yeag he’s a talent, not in England squad but Southgate has gone with Dier and Coady instead. Plus the guy he mentioned while explaining Trent omission, Matty Cash wasn’t great today and not even sure how he could be mentioned in the same sentance as Trent though.

You've been talking to Dreamy too much. Fuck United, very happy they are out. Outclassed by Leicester.
