Who will be the first Klopp signing to leave?

This is Klopp's 2nd full season as the Liverpool manager and so far all the players he's sold have been signed either by Rodgers or Rafa: Benteke, Allen, Sakho, Coutinho, Lucas, etc. But there comes a point in every manager's tenure – if he stays long enough – when he has to admit that his own signing hasn't worked out. Or perhaps on the contrary it has worked out too well and now a bigger club has poached him. So who will be the first Klopp signing to walk out (or be forced out) of the door?

BTW, I think this poll also illustrates that while not everyone on this list has set the Premier League alight, there are no obvious disasters and misfits here, the kind of which we seemed to buy with alarming regularity before the German management team took over. Diouf, Diao, Robbie Keane, Morientes, Nunez, Babel, "Speedy" Gonzalez, Dossena, Degen, Aspas, Benteke, Balotelli, Borini, Assaidi and pretty much the entire haul of the transfer windows under Hodgson and Dalglish (except Suarez and Henderson) – recently we seem to have stopped signing players that take us backwards.

I know you don’t mean it but it feels sickening to see Dalglish and Hodge Podge categorized together. The ‘except’ bit is a huge deal.

True, maybe I could have phrased it differently. Kenny did buy some absolute donkeys though...

Probably Klavan given his age and how little he plays. If I was him I'd want to go play for my last few years.

If there's any justice it will be Solanke the useless streak of London pish

Ahem. Comolli..
But Dalglish himself wanted Charlie Adam.

Back to the poll, I see rurik hasn't explicitly included Mané. Also, I think domebpksyers may leave not because they have failed to cit but age had caught up. I think that will be case with Klavan, for example.

And Dalglish himself went to watch Suarez to make his judgement. What’s your point?

Selling Solanke would be a bit pointless.
The lad has potential and would benifit from a loan move to a Premier League side.

Klavan will be the first. He’s a good low fee signing and back up player, but he’ll want first team football.

We haven't even paid for solanke yet, so selling him ain't happening.

In fact I think one of the reason, apart from the obvious ones, he’s not seeing much game time is because of that pending tribunal determination.

The media seem to be intent on trying to make out Solanke made a 'mistake' in coming to LFC simly because he's not played that much. But he's not in the same position as, say, Barkley at Chelski, who clearly isn't rated by his manager. Klopp is obviously very supportive of Solanke, and he's getting coached very intensively, and he has played pretty much as often as he deserved to play. He's a young lad who shines when playing at youth level but has some way to go to shine at senior level. If that frustrates Engerland fans and amuses bitter Chelski-supporting hacks, so be it, but his progress is ongoing and next season he'll be better judged.

Especially the celebrity/high profile Chelsea fans such as those on talk radio.

Exactly. They look at an attack consisting of Mane, Salah and Firmino and scratch their heads at Solanke not playing as much as they expected. Ings has more reason to be frustrated than Solanke. He's made a good move to a club where he'll be taken seriously but also made to compete against top class forwards.

So 3 people who voted "other," which player did I miss? I didn't include Mane or Ox as there seems to be no suggestion of either of them leaving.

I wonder if Wijnaldum will find himself with less playing time once Keita is here – and especially if we buy someone like Ndidi as well. He could potentially be expendable.

Also, if we do decide to splash money on Alisson, it might be best to sell both Karius and Ming and stick with Ward as a back-up. Borussia Dortmund is looking for a new first-choice keeper and they've enquired about Mignolet (that's how poor Burki has been this season – Ming would be an upgrade), but I think they would be willing to pay more for Karius.

I had completely forgotten Barkley signed for Chelsea.

I voted other as Can wasn't listed and he is clearly off the day his contract ends. Mignolet isn't listed wither, but that may just be wishful thinking on my part.

Or he could raise his game. He’s a better passer of the ball than Ndidi but doesn’t tussle for possession as fiercely and hence offers less protection of the defence.

Wijnaldum is one frustrating player, he has most of the tools to be great but he's 27 now. Is there anything else to come?

I thought he looked shite against England, seemed to have problems with his awareness of where the opposition players were so got caught in possession quite frequently. I wonder is that down to communication from his team mates or lack of helpful crowd noise.

Useful squad member but has definitely slipped down the order and in danger of replacement.

He was poor, wasn’t he? Although not as bad as that 2m plus forward who started for the Dutch — completely unDutch type of striker.

Yea surprisingly so, that's the one thing I'd usually rely on him to do in a Liverpool shirt - keep possession.

Some terrible Dutch squads recently, shame.

Very poor. The league is now more full of foreigners, it seems to me, and that conveyer belt of talent which Ajax among others tended to have has got very sparse. And Koenan doesn’t look as if he has a clue even with what is at his disposal.

It will probably be Mane...

A player we just wouldn't expect.. Like a bolt out of the blue..

He will go to Madrid or Barca, if it was to happen

You're the one who included 'other' as an option, so I think you've just rumbled yourself as a mischievous rascal!
