In fairness they are spot on with their analysis of Modo's posting history.
hope he has better luck there, i actually think he's our best left back, shame about his injuries

Former Liverpool left-back Fábio Aurélio, who signed for #Grêmio last month, faces six months on the sidelines after rupturing ligaments
Training ground injury involving Marcelo Moreno
Just can't get a break.
If he hadn't have been trying to avoid it he probably would not have got hurt.
I respect people's opinions on Aurelio, I just don't get them, I thought he was a fairly average left-back most of the time and most of the rest of the time he was crocked.

Quite surprised by that Vlad.If he hadn't have been trying to avoid it he probably would not have got hurt.

Quite surprised by that Vlad.
His passing and positioning were great and he had that class about him that 70% of the rest of our squad didn't have, when on the ball.
He really could have been great had it not been for those injuries. Knock on wood Agger doesn't follow the same path.
I wish we had more players with Aurelio's abilities minus the injuries of course.
In his best season with us he got 3 goals and 6 assists in 26 games (6 sub appearances).
That's pretty impressive for a left back IMO.
I think it's telling that Rafa, who knew him very well (unlike Aquilani) still wanted him and thought he was worth the risk. Turns out he wasn't, but at the time (25 years old or so?) he had the potential to become one hell of a player. What was he doing the other 5 seasons? Ironically, Valencia's most successful periods were when he was sidelined, and played the least - Champions League Runners Up 2001 (2 games in the CL), La Liga Winners 2002 (15 games), La Liga Winners & UEFA Cup Winners 2004 (4 games in all competitions), and 5 games out of 13 on our Champions League voyage in 2007, and only appeared once during the knock-out stages as Johnny Rockets was our main left-back. He did have a decent season in 2008/09 as you mentioned but one season out of 6 isn't good enough, it's a little bit average. I'm sure he's a nice guy though.
