Aquilani was probably the most disappointing of the lot.

I just can't work out his game at times. There just seems to be too much aimless running and pointless flicks - just keep it simple and make sure the ball reaches the intended target.

[/quote]Kelly was average in the first half but very good second half. Aquilani was fairly invisible throughout and given the opposition as Ken says was really dissapointing as (i thought) was Jovanovic.
Lucas was holding yes and he was fine.

[/quote]Yes. He went missing for one chance for them a better team would have scored but his run and assist for the goal was great.

I think we had most joy down the right where we had Kelly and Amoo for most of the game. So credit to them.

Aqualani and Jovanovic seemed to just let the game drift by them. I had hoped they'd both stake a claim to a starting place and show their experience tonight. Neither did. If Babel got his hands on a good stream I'm sure he's quite relaxed tonight.
