I know you don't like facts Stevie. Hard luck.

I like actual facts - not just made up stuff.

Wages are part of the jigsaw - as is the manager - as is the recruitment strategy.

Tell me why the biggest spenders on wages in Europe haven’t been dominating Europe of late.

I know you understand causality - higher wages are a result of success while not necessarily being the cause of success.

No, studies have been done that show the single thing that correlates most with league success is the size of the wage bill.

But as always facts that don't suit your worldview are simply ignored.

I am sure there is an interdependency that is missing in that analysis which is particularly important for the type of contracts FSG support that is heavily incentivized. We signed good players like Salah, Allison, VVD who are on decently high wages which in combination with Klopp's tactics lead to success which triggered clauses leading to more higher wages.

It's not like giving karius 300k a week means he would magically stop being an absolute shitcunt though. It's a bit of a false equivalency. The best players perform well and then command higher wages
Yes. But you're overlooking the fact that any type of logic (and intelligence and irony for that matter) eludes Rosco.

So a study show wages lead to successful
teams. Let’s ignore all other studies which show manager’s making a difference.

According to another such study, United topped the salary spend for the last 2 yrs at least, what’s their trophy count like in the same period?

There are many factors which contribute to a trophy winning team, of course paying the players good wages is 1 but the main 1 which is also the hardest 1 is having a team who enjoy playing together and work well and understand each other’s game and building on that…like the Lille side last season but has now been broken up due to the departures of 3 key players in Araujo Maignan and Soumare as well as the manager Galtier or the Leicester side which went on to lose 2-3 of their key players before ruthlessly sacking Ranieri.
