So says the man who has been to one game this season - and that was a friendly.
You must have realised what was going to happen, and started your protest early KopKing.
I have never (unfortunately) seen a "Rafa Out" protest at Anfield, like-wise I don't think you will see United fans voting with their feet either, not while they are at the top of the pile, wearing yellow and green scarves is about the top of it.
The only time you will get that is when the team is playing shite , not doing well.....recognise that.
It happens because we get fed up , not because of some great moral crusade.
The vast majority of the crowd are season ticket holders , so it would be fucking clever of us to stump up our £800 quid or whatever it is, and then not go to the game. We could always give up our season tickets which we might have held for thirty years or more and then see Benitez sacked and new owners and not get them back.
Those that do "give up their tickets" nearly always retain the right to them and merely rent them out, in the hope that things will improve.
What we could do is get a bunch of ex-shop stewards to organise a rabble to involve themselves in pointless protests every now and then.....oh wait.

lol... yea that was it I started my protest early...thanks
🙂 Actually, I'd go more if I could get hold of tickets reasonably close to the issue price. Any ideas?
What do you think we should do as fans regarding the owners? Or do you think their stewardship is what's best for the club?

You have to join up for a ballot thing I think, it seems quite productive, one of the others will tell you.
What do we fans do regarding the owners? Is their stewardship what's best? Good questions.
Let's look at the second one first, there could be much better options and there could be much worse ones.
The trouble with all this ownership lark it's always a gamble and risk jumping out of the frying pan into the fire, and without wanting to overdo the idioms, I am a great believer in better the devil you know, than the one you don't.
I actually do have some sympathy with H&G, not the worlds richest men by any stretch of the imagination, but they did have a plan, and theirs like many others was royaly fucked up by the recession. Had they not some idea about what the club is all about , they would have cut and run a while ago. It's tough for them too, they have made some daft decisions and said things they will regret, on top of that had to deal with a petulant manager, who has some Svengali hold on a section of the support.
We need an injection of cash which they are working on, and they are no doubt acutely aware of what needs doing with the team and manager. They have sold-off their other family jewels (or in Hicks case) are trying , so as someone said in another thread they seem to be in it for the long haul.
So the second part, what do the fans do if they are unhappy with the owners, I suppose in answering the above maybe a significant section of the support think along my lines, it could be better, they seem to know what the problems are, and it could be worse, and if we had a more flexible and receptive , less stubborn manager things might not be that bad. Ultimately it boils down to basic economics, supply and demand, and if it looks less likely they can fill a big stadium most of the time which fulfills the plan, and pays the debt they will look to sell the Club on. I think all the fans can do is carry on doing our job being fans, and trust that our standing, reputation, fan-base and history carry us through.
