If it's true that Mascherano is using barca as leverage to get a better contract, I'd be really disappointed.

Well, the books aren't quite balanced. Benitez rated him and signed him, he won a Champions League medal and he was treated extremely well until his form dipped. I think Earl Hickey needs to give Xabi a good slap.
