It did cost us. Utd were winning 2-0 and fucked it up. They still got the win though.
Teams don't often win titles by smashing the opposition to pieces 5-0 each weekend. They need a bit of luck and the small margins to go their way.
We've been getting assfucked on decisions so far and it's cost us. It would cost anyone.
That decision table is vindication of what we have believed for some time.
And if United didn't get that decision then they would have been guilty of fucking up. We can't rely on anyone but ourselves, and least of all rely on luck.
Yeah we're not getting the rub of the green (if anything we can't even reach the green), but overall we need to focus, We need to improve our concentration.
I think it's easy enough to say that and it's true for the most part (of course we need to improve - god knows there is enough scope for that) but continually feeling like you're not getting your just rewards is demoralizing and makes it harder to focus etc. It feels like there is a delicate balance to maintain in football and ours is out of whack right now.
And I should know.

It's not luck in the case, Fabs... It's the officials getting the (blindingly obvious) decision correct. We didn't hit the post 7 times... We scored a perfectly legitimate winner and had it pulled back for no apparent reason. That decision DID cost us, 'cos if they're gotten it right, even with our surrendering that 2-0 lead, we would have won the game.
