INTERVIEW on Australian TV show...

Allardyce says management of people is what is important - Football knowledge is not...

Fellow managers were jelous of his team because they were cheap but they could still win. Believes his team was unfairly critisised and a lot of what was said was foreign to him and the team - Didnt feel they played scrappy football...

doesnt think Blackburn do it today and is disapointed that the media's incorrect opinion has followed him. - Thinks its the reason why he didnt get the England Job.. Blames other managers for talking to the media about his team and the Media believed it.

i HATE this guy. Anti Football cock sucker. He seems to think he plays pass and move Football and he had some of the best players in the world.. Jay Jay and get this... Stelios... wtf... apparently because he was in the greek team that won the euro cup he is world class.

Yeah that's why last week he took off his striker when losing and moved Samba up front so he could hoof it up to him.

Well done Sam.

He was a cnut as a player and he's a cnut still.

Some folks reckon he'd have made a better choice than McClaren for England. I can understand that view but I don't agree with it, as I reckon he'd have got the top players naffed off quick sharp. At least they had respect for McClaren's coaching ability if not his management.

Ooh, low blow.

But thanks for reminding me of that glorious night. ;D It was when Mourinho sent Huth on in that game that I really believed we were going to hold out.

Might be on my own but I like Sam.

He gets the best out of his squad.

West Brom play football every year they come up and go down straight away.

He turned Bolton into a steady team and has done well at Blackburn who at times play good stuff.

And I thought Jay Jay and Stelious were great players as was Campo.

Allardyce does seem to get a lot out of ordinary footballers and a tried and trusted percentage system. He's also resurrected or reinvigorated some great careers: Anelka (and that other French bloke), Okocha, Campo for example.

Respect for that. I'd hate having to turn up to see my team coached by him though.

He turned Bolton into a steady team of assassins and I've yet to see Blackburn play much, if any, different. JayJay had his moments, but Stelios was never more than OK and Campo was often a lot less than that, though he improved as time went on. (The French guy was Jerkoff, or Djorkaeff if you want to get technical.)

Allardyce does have some ability to get the best out of average players, or good ones who are over the hill. What he chooses to do with them, though, belongs in a wrestling ring as opposed to a football pitch.

Plus he's Jabba the Hutt's uglier cousin and has dissed LFC more than most.

How anyone can like Fat Barstard (after the way he gobs off about us and toadies after his bum chum up the road) is beyond me.

He does what he has to keep his teams up but he's still a cunt.

I'd say we have very, very different definitions of "great".

In context. ;D

I can respect some of the work he's done, which sounds like what you're trying to say DB. But actually like? Really? What is there to like about him?

Exactly.

I wasnt even slating DB; with his tools Fat Barstard has done reasonably well dishing up what he calls football.

But he's a gobby little toadying shit.

How about his 'disrespectful' jibe which he somehow only realised when Ginsoak told him?

Fucking wanker.
