And because players are typically better their second year removed from a serious knee injury - if they're professional about it.

On the flip side he might never come close to being what he was - but the risk is one years exorbitant wages or less than a Balotelli

The only downside to a year loan is his 250k wages per week.
13 mill £ in wages. Cant see Monaco letting him join anyone on loan without picking up most of that.

Juventus, Chelsea and Valencia are also "interested" according to that article.
