Live in Australia, a packet of ciggies here is about $25 I think (12.50 pounds). But the new budget has them going up 12.5% every year for the next 4 years, which means a pack of fags will be 20 quid (pounds) in 4 years.

I'm an ex-smoker. I look back on it fondly. I only gave up because its probably bad for me, not because I wanted to, smoking is ace.
I don't smoke now but I can't agree it's right to plunder smokers for tax dollars.
