How is Henry a dickhead? He's a fantastic footballer and a great guy, always had a great word to say about us, and personally I think he's one of the best the premier league has ever seen.

I think henry was the best striker ever in the prem, maybe not the most prolific but with regards to influence on your team. henry at his peak was better than shearer at his peak, at least I know which one I wish we had in their prime.

Yep, any day. And he's not really a dickhead is he? Not many misdemeanour's have blotted his career. Of course, all the Irish probably hate him, but they hate everyone anyway, whether they're Irish, French or English. Especially the former and the latter.

He's easily one of the best players to ever play in the Premiership, for how prolific RVN was, I'd take Henry over him too.

Why would it get you flamed? Those two at their peak were almost unplayable at times, they could both create something from nothing, in a shit game we're you're struggling to break the deadlock. Pace, power, finishing, creativity. Everything a top attacker is about.

the flaming I fear is because there are some that want to rewrite history. I never got to see rush but pound for pound torres was the best striker I ever saw in red.

just saw the highlights, that oxlade kid looks the part. im really happy to see henry doing well for arsenal again, which is really stupid cause theyre our rivals, but i almost want him to keep scoring, just hope we score more!

Yet Gerrard does the same - from midfield - and gets nothing like the plaudits.

Not denying that Henry was a tremendous player but no way would I put him over Shearer (who scored a huge number of his goals in a struggling Newcastle team), Roy Keane and others. I wouldn't even have him as the best from Arsenal; Bergkamp was a better player for mine and Pires - when at his peak - was devastating.

As for whoever it was - no, I'm not Irish but that doesn't change the fact he was a pompous cheat. Sure, he's said some nice things about us but so did Diouf; means nothing really.
 
If Thierry Henry is apparently the only footballer still playing to have a statue of himself outside a stadium. Then whats with the statue of Nani outside Craven Cottage?

For me...Bergkamp was the best player to play in the premiership. I know other people will disagree with that, but that is my opinion.

I absolutely loved Bergkamp.
