Don't really get this whole spend thing. "Spending big" doesn't really seem to make a significant difference at the top end. We are currently higher in the league than the two biggest spenders and one of them will fail to make UCL qualification for next season.

I am interested in the new talent we bring to the club but the price ticket isn't the important thing. We've had as much success bringing in high priced talent as 'bargaiins' over the years. If it were simply about money then I think I'd lose nterest
