I'd hazard a guess that most football fans would feel that way, which is why I don't think it will happen, not any time soon anyway.

I doubt if this proposed new league will be a replacement for the domestic competitions.

It will just be a consolidation of the existing Champions League to guarantee qualification for the bigger clubs.
