1yr loan of coutinho for 20 odd mill plus wages [emoji23] surely levy isn't going to go for that

Talk sport are saying there's 4 loan offers for Phil from English sides

Us, arse, United and Tottenham

Eriksen to United
Coutinho to Liverpool
Fernandes to Spurs

All guesswork obviously but this outcome wouldn't surprise me.

I don't reckon any of them will move.

We definitely will not be signing Coutinho, though.

Doesnt look like Coutinho will move to Spurs, and I'm guessing Spurs would rather sell Eriksen to Italy or Spain.

Nah, we don't always play with an AM and when we've do we've got Chamberlain, who is an AM more in keeping with Klopps style than anyone else mentioned.

I'd rather sign a wing forward or striker for this kind of money.

So many people putting too much faith in Chamberlain. He's made out of wet cardboard and has just been injured for a year.

So if Eriksen moves to United, then Pogba moves to Real, which means they won’t be in for Van de Beek, which means he will move to Spurs, which means they will drop interest in Coutinho, which means PSG will be able to make a deal for Coutinho going to Barca in part-exchange for Neymar, which means they will loan/sell Dembele to us. Something like that.

I hate modern football.

I could see all that happening. Except Dembele to us.

More likely none of it will happen, though.

Well, the fact we could have won the league on the last day of the season and finished with the highest points total to ever finish second is pretty indicative that we not reliant on an AM regardless. The team clearly functions extremely well. meaning we never have to rely on Chamberlain. There are times we need to tip the attacking balance of our midfield to maximize our attacking output, which Chamberlain can help with.

He'll come good here.

I like Chamberlain. He's a good player. And yes we have a great team that almost won the league.

But people relying on Chamberlain to offset the deficit we have in midfield and in attacking positions are being a bit naive. He's struggled with injuries all his career. He's just had a year out. He even had a couple of scares pre-season. I wouldn't be banking on him contributing anything substantial to our season, unfortunately.

It will all break down because of a jammed fax machine at 11:59pm somewhere. Leaving behind unbalanced squads, and managers trying to deal with disgruntled players whose move has fallen through. It's a fucking awful system.

Saw some of the journos on Twitter claiming there are a multiple of «big» deals that can get done, but they could all just fizz out into nothing as well.
If one of these major deals go through then the rest could follow.

Spurs seem to be already trying to spend some potential Eriksen money.
Very weird, bar a hefty wage, if he decides to move to Utd.

They'll be an AM merry go round.

Wouldn't surprise me if Spurs have a deal in priciple agreed for Eriksen with United and are attempting to spend the money in advance (Dybala/Coutinho - loan) and United will fuck Pogba off to Madrid next summer.

I would love it if it all went south tomorrow.

Especially Eriksen. He should not go north .

Eriksen to Utd
Coutinho to Arsenal
Dybala to Spurs

That'd be annoying, not gonna lie.

So Dybala rejected United but will go to Spurs, who probably pay twice as little? I find that hard to believe. He asked for £350k/week from United, an amount which would totally break Spurs’ wage structure.

From all the news so far, Spurs have reached agreement with Juve on the transfer fee (as did United), but haven’t convinced the player yet. I don’t think they will.

While all this is going on, the top tier LFC look like they're twiddling their thumbs. When spurs failed to strengthen they were lucky to come 3rd

Wonder if the Poch / Argentina connection will work. Dybala girlfriend prefers the move to London.

I think half as much is the phrase you look for.... Be careful when tipping over there in NYC.
