i like the lad but i really don't see anything potentially world class about him. at best he will become a solid full back. nothing wrong with that by the way.

i reckon warnock was of a slightly higher level than insua

At the same age? He wasn't even in the first team, was he? I know Warnock had big injury problems, but he was 22/23 before he started playing regularly for us. Insua is 20. That's a massive difference. I'm not saying he'll be world-class, but I do think he has the potential to be better than Warnock (who I rate).
 
He's played very well. As has Aimar, recalled after 2 years out.
Insua just kept the score level with a Henchoz-esque block.
