I'm currently going through the government DV clearance scheme for a contract we have.
I know what the questionnaire is like, as I've got it, but I've no idea what to expect in the interview phase - I've read and been told allsorts from people that have been through it, and/or work with someone that's been through it, but I'm never sure if half of it is legit. Have any of your been through it and have examples of what sort of questions you got? (I know it's a 3hr jobby).
Also, regards to your references, did they have to take a day off work or could they interview out of hours? Were they asked questions about themselves or only you?
I'm expecting all of the usual as I've been through it for other clearances:
Finance history
Substance abuse history
Criminal history
Sexual preferences
Political opinions
Any current or past dodgy relationships
Dodgy family members
Is there anything outside those that you get hit with at the interview stage?
