it does kind of underline so much that's wrong with modern football, though. i mean, what the fuck are these guys really doing running our club?
for ages my uncle has been telling me how he's sick to death of football and that he doesn't care about Liverpool anymore, and that he's started to follow his local team, Cheltenham Town, instead. until recently i took it all with a pinch of salt and thought he was just being a bit of a grumpy bastard, but i'm starting to sympathise more and more. it seems we've swapped a physical ugliness of the 70s and 80s for a spiritual ugliness; i'd really love to see fans start to exercise the power they don't seem to know they have.
is it really just me?

You're the one that linked the players- 'Lucas was carrying him'. No. Lucas was doing one job, Adam another. Do I say Adam was carrying Lucas because he took on more of an attacking role? No I don't- because it would be stupid. They were each playing complimentary roles.
