Hey, so this is a bit of a long shot, but what the hell. I've had some trouble with the french doors into my garden, well the handle, not the door, basically the fucker has come right off, it's not loose or anything like that, it literally slides right off.
Now the fix is simple, there's a single piece of metal which goes through the handle face plate, and screws into the handle itself, I simply need to replace that bit of metal as it's sheered off, however I have no idea what its called, and thats where I was hoping someone on here might be able to help. I've googled this to fuck, but the problem is that 99% of french door handles seem to be a uPVC handle which uses a circlip system, which isn't what my handle is.
Anyway, some pictures below, if anyones able to tell me what this metal bolt is called so I can order the cunt off ebay, i'd be eternally grateful.
First picture below, this is the inside of the door cover, the central circular metal object is the one i'm referring to, you can see the screw in the middle, thats where it screws into the handle.
