Jumping on the torturously-contrived thread titles bandwagon (but not *just* for the sole purpose of shoehorning it in) - after his recent form from the spot (missed something like 3 in the last 8 in the last couple of years) is it time to consider options other than Mo as our penalty taker?

Everyone knows Mo doesn’t really have any craft to his penalties but when the going is good and everyone is confident they seem to go in and the ones that don’t rarely matter.

The goings not so good these days and the misses stand out much more so yea now that we have other lads that can take them it is time to reconsider.

Would you fancy having that conversation with Mo though?

If we intend to sell a pissed off Mo in Jan, then sure, taking him off pens is a good start.

He needs to miss another 3 in a row before he's taken off them.

Mo seems fragile at the moment so it’s risky to move him off them but it’s also been risky and costly having him on them.

I’d have either Mac or Szobo taking over duties. Ideally we get to test it by getting a pen in a game Mo isn’t on the pitch for

Both Macca and Szobo have excellent records. Mo will get a couple of more attempts though before Klopp considers it is my guess.

I'm on the fence about this. It's certainly something that needs to be considered IMO - for all his excellence in other respects I've never felt confident in Mo's penalty-taking and he's had long enough to settle to it, as Stevie G did though he wasn't the most reliable to begin with. All that said, none of us has the advantage of being around these guys every day and getting a real sense of (a) quite how badly Mo would react if the change were made and (b) who would be best placed to take over.
