That the Chamberlain sub by Wenger with arshavin and questioned by RVP similar to that of the Rafa sub (forgotten the game) where Stevie G openly questioned?

Has Wenger really lost it this time? He has been given a really long leash.

Thats exactly what it reminded me of. You can see RVP mouth 'what the fuck' it was lols.

It was almost as funny as watching Arshavin trying and failing to Valencia en route to the United winner.

Wenger paid the price there.

Wenger knows more about bringing in young players successfully than arguably anyone in England.

That the fans question his decision to bring him off speaks volumes about how they feel about him currently.

Also considering the Ox was the only playing doing ANYTHING for arsenal, wenger seemed to load the gun for united to pull the trigger

It reminded me of the Rafa incident, yes. In fact, watching Wenger these days is like watching a loop of doom. For example, his angry hurling of his water bottle to the ground: they might as well just insert archive footage. Once a manager is more interested in being proven right than in getting a win, he's on the way out.

Except wasn't Torres having one of his huffy princess games.

Ox Chamber fellow is going to turn out to be some player, if at 18 he is such an instrumental player for Arsenal.

Why havent any of our 18 year olds beeb given a chance. Had we bought chamberlain he would have been rotting in the reserves

George Graham had a right go at Wenger in the press at the weekend. Basically saying that he can't continue using the 'rebuilding' and 'youth' excuse. He was saying that Fergie has managed to rebuild his teams whilst challenging for and winning trophies.

Graham certainly has a case of sour grapes but I think the fact that he's getting the boot in now suggests that Wenger's position is considerably weaker than it ever has been before among the extended Arsenal fraternity.

Listening to Wenger's attempts to explain the current situation away has been pretty cringemaking at times. He can be a whiny hypocrite too often for my liking, but he's a bright guy and there's always been some rhyme and reason to what he says - until this season, when an increasing number of his statements have actually been empty and sometimes pretty meaningless waffle. It's gotten embarrassing now. The guy has reached his sell-by date.

Arshavin seems to have lost it too after taking us apart in his first season.

It was his PL debut, he probably agreed it with him before the game that he'd et 70mins. People are blowing the whole thing well out of proportion.
