I wanted him to stay until he handed in a transfer request. At that point, barring any miracle turnarounds, I think he becomes dressing-room poison, and that hanging on to him can only damage the club. We need to be united, and as long as the other players aren't negatively affected by him leaving, and as long as we can bring in a replacement now (my money's on Forlan) and spend the rest of the money we get from his sale in the summer, then I think it's better if he leaves straight away.

Anyone who doesn't want to be at the club, shouldn't be at the club.

But we want proper fucking money for him.

Sell the cunt. All this 'badly advised' shit makes me laugh. Are we talking about grown men here or what? Does he really need to be advised that moving to Chelsea right at the end of the Jan xfer window is going to upset Liverpool fans?
Prick.

Yes, because it also mean that our club is doing well.

Players like poulsen, konchesky should be the first one to get out from the club.

I'm reserving total judgement until I hear what the lying, snivelling cunt has to say, but I'm 90/10 in favour of selling the twat.

I loved him too.

I think we're doing the right thing, the fact that we've made it public that he wants to leave suggests bids are welcome, play hard ball on the money but look to move him on.

I really dont ever want to see him in a Liverpool shirt again

None of us know what's happened? So I for one will reserve judgement on our number 9 until I hear differently.

I'll tell you what's happened, he's sulked like a big fucking kid for the best part of a year and allowed it to effect his performances, and now he's trying to fuck us over a couple of days before the transfer window closes, mid season in a season where we need him most, to go to a shower of hollow twats with no history.

'Reserve judgement' my arse.

Good point neets. He's a monster. That kid has probably had a good kicking off his mates for spreading Torres' lies. Hope he's proud of himself.

I think it's safe to say I'll never be Nanananananing again.

People still sing the Javier Mascherano song in clubs whenever the White Stripes comes on.

Really fucks me off.

In my opinion, given his injuries, he's worth about 35-40m, and I don't think we should sell for that. If we're offered 50m plus, we should definitely take it, otherwise keep him and sell him in the summer for a better fee. It's about what's best for the club, and that kind of money has to be taken, anything less is just letting emotions get in the way, or Torres(or his agent) get his way.

Is Torres in Spain though? How would he have spoken to the kid?

Apparently, they've all had 3 days off.

So the "I spoke to him outside Melwood" brigade are some lyin-ass bitches !

Of course I want him to stay. He is possibly the best striker of his generation. He will help Liverpool win games by scoring loads of goals. I've not given up on him yet. I know he handed in a transfer request but until I hear from his mouth that he wants out - I will hold out hope. Imagine if he stays until the summer and in the next 4 months strikes up great partnership with Suarez. Scores shed loads and rediscovers his love for LFC?

Come on I can hope can't I? The thought of him playing for the chavs literally makes me want to vomit!

This. I would also let him sit on the bench till summer rather than sell him now, I'm sick of weakening the team and now we don't have to anymore.

How the hell do figure that? Because he doesn't smile on the pitch like be used to? Let's be honest here he's had fuck all to smile about! He's had injury and form issues. Seen us lose (twice) to the likes of Blackpool. Had fuck all service at all. Seen one of the most disasterous manager appointments in liverpools long history. He's still managed to score goals for us though.

Look I'm not saying your not right - you probably are and if you are I'll be gutted and devastated. Can we not just wait and see what happens in the next few days. This is Nando we are talking about after all. Say what you like but as it stands he is a red not a fucking chav and as such I will RESERVE JUDGMENT and not call one of liverpools greatest number 9s a cunt! ....... Yet!

He can fuck off as far as I'm concerned.
He can stay if he really means it.

Otherwise he can eff right off.
That's the point, I don't care how it pans out. Why should we try and appease him?
Is right.

If he stays then "whoo", if he goes... Arsed? I love him but if he doesn't love my club then he's not the person I thought I loved

Let's be realistic, if and when the Financial Fair Play rules kick in this summer, we'll be hard pressed to justify the inevitable expenditure incurred in our rebuilding process. A new winger, DM, LB, CB, so that's what 4 new players costing upwards of 30-40 million?

The way to balance the books is to sell Club Employee Torres in June, not now.

I don't want us to sell Torres now. He can fuck off in the summer if he doesn't have the stomach for a fight. I don't give a shit.

But he simply cannot be allowed to leave now for many reasons

We could have other clubs trying to get his signature in the summer, pushing his price further up, but the main reason why i think he shouldn't be allowed to go is internal to the football issues of our club.

Suarez is still an unknown, and it would be nice to get a more realistic picture of our Squad with Suarez and hopefully another good player in before the end of the transfer window. So that, if Torres does indeed fuck off, we are in a better position to re-invest properly in the squad and have sufficient time to do so.

No going back either way it will never be the same if he stays so i'm not bothered.
Worse thing he could do if he stays is come up with all the same shite excuses about broken promises and no ambition and all that shite.
I'd have more respect for him if he came out and said I was being a greedy lying cunt and I'm sorry.
