I've got my car for sale on E-Bay. Got a text off someone today saying they were looking to buy a car, with cash, today and would travel from Blackburn to buy it tonight. I replied that I couldn't release the car that quickly. I got another back asking me when I could release it as they were prepared to wait.
So I sent a text back but halfway through had to save it to my draft folder. When I went back to it, the number wasn't saved so I checked the number on the original message. It started +44 and because I couldn't be arsed typing all that, I replaced the pre-fix with '0'. Same number, just that bit different. My text said I could release it tomorrow but if they were paying in cash, I'd only release the car once the notes had been checked by the bank. After a bit of a delay, I got a text back saying "I think you've sent this to the wrong number, I don't know who you are." So I sent the exact same text to the same number but with the +44 at the beginning replacing the 0. The reply...."I'll let you know if I'm interested." Strange for someone who was so desparate for the car.
Then some thick twat offered me £3500 for it. It's advertised at £7800. I'm all for dropping the price a bit but for fuck's sake!
