Just realised that we've got Aurelio for another year as well. We're sorted.

We still have Insua. Sorted.

Kenny has improved Lucas, Spearing, Maxi... maybe Insua too?!

Kenny is a great manager.

Not a miracle worker.

It's certainly not as pressing as it was with the emergence of the three lads , as regards Ostmebor and Peltier , I think any possibilty of that has been dashed by the performances put in. They both looked out of their depth from day 1.

Otsemobor and Peltier probably weren't good enough but both were pretty typical of how their managers often treated young players.

Houllier would throw the odd young player in here and there but if they had a poor game they were out and rarely returned.
Benitez used to try out youngsters by playing them all together in Cup games. They would generally end up losing and so noone really learned a great deal.

I was going to say I agree with Doc, that we don't need more full backs as Johnson and Kelly are good enough and Robinson and Flanagan are good enough back up.

However, after reading Peter's post about injuries I am now not so sure. The fact that we ended up with the 2 young lads in the team this season just shows that Johnson and Kelly cannot really be relied upon (at the moment) to stay fit

I thought Otsemobor looked OK to start with, but admittedly I only saw him on TV. Never saw Peltier at all.

Peltier is at Huddersfield playing regularly at rb. They're on the verge of being promoted to the Championship.
Semi is at Wednesday and they ended up in the bottom half of the league 1 table.
I guess they found their level.
