I wouldn't be surprised if FSG consulted Gerrard about all of this. I really don't know, but this now smacks of someone who has knowledge of what goes on all the way through the preparation for each game, and has an opinion that is taken seriously. Ayre wouldn't know half of what goes on in the dressing room and the training pitch. I can't think of anyone other than a player who would have been in a position to nudge FSG in this direction, unless Rodgers performed an elaborate self-critique and then stabbed the rest in the back, which is highly implausible.

They need to bring in the new people very, very quickly, because this is making the club look as shambolic as an Aidy Ward wet dream about Anfield. The manager needs to regain a sense of authority and the club some stability. This looks like a Co-Op reshuffle.

I'm really going to miss him.

Who am I going to scream 'WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY DO YOU FAT HEADED , SHORTS WEARING BELLEND' at now that he's gone. When legends like him can be released then no-one is safe.
Who are FSG going to get rid of next, Tea ladies or Kit men or maybe the programme sellers as them bastards have a lot to answer for. I'm thinking them programme sellers had far too much sway when it came to tactics , transfer policy and team morale. Burn them all!

Best song ever but God knows what he actually did besides putting the cones out. Probably a decent bloke but that isnt enough.

Also some rumours on Twitter about a Director of Football coming in aswell.

Maybe FSG have said if you want to stay on these changes will be made..

Why is the club credit card showing 12k on Haribo Tom?

Mike and Colin to Tom's office please.

So if their is a Director of Football.. that means Rodgers won't be in charge of the transfers..

Confused now..

Maybe he actually knows his stuff... I mean he has been with Swans for a good while and I hear at least twice a season how good set up they have and how they benefit from a settled system that was put in place 4-5 years ago, and hence will be a tough challenge for a club like ours.

I said this a while ago, but everytime I saw his face, I just thought of Neil Warnock, which is never a good thing.

All this goes to show we really should have done all we could to hang on to Clarke and foist him on the defensively clueless BR when Kenny was moved on, instead of him having a bunch of noddy dogs in the dugout.
