Mr Rodgers needs to quit the fucking weird player touching and mantra spouting madonna concert bullshit and start kicking the fuck out of our fucking players who cant do their jobs without ill discipline.
Shelvey joins Agger, Skrtel, Reina and Johnson in the 'complete fucking lack of awareness and discipline' club.
Penalties and sendings off have fucking killed us.
Enough of this shit you bellends.

I don't think its a discipline problem but more to do with players doing too much running and pressing which is causing this Problem of attention to detail and early tiredness. This is the problem with the system, if you look at our players in the PL games they seem to rush things so much now and that is also leadind to costly mistakes.
 
Shelvey always tackles like that, yes it needs to be address but I dont think its got anything to do with Rodgers style of management

I agree that our players tiredness is leading to them diving in and making unnecessary tackels
 
Rodgers needs to take the younger players aside and teach them that if you're gonna make a bad tackle then you should make it worth it and do it right, like carragher did to Nani a while back.
 
Whilst I've said on here more than once that Shelvey is a red card waiting to happen yesterday's tackle wasn't it ... it was undeserved. Likewise Johnson's 'intervention' wasn't a penalty either.

Oh right. Sorry i must have imagined the sending off and penalties that cost us the game at West Brom, and the shit defending against Sunderland, and the weak goals conceeded to Arsenal, and the sending off and penalty yesterday.
Forget i mentioned it, all is CLEARLY rosy in the garden.

It's inexperience that's all, Stevie's discipline record in the early days left alot to be desired. He was bang on with his statement, he shouldn't be sorry for fighting for a 50/50, people moaned last year that Henderson was too nice and shirked challenges and hid behind opponents, Shelvey's got every bit of grit and determination that we otherwise lack in certain areas. He's a winner.

I was saying in regards to yesterday's game. shelvey got the ball, Johnson didn't touch Valencia. as for your other points regarding agger and skrtels wrecklessness then sure.
shelvey went for a ball I'd expect any of our players to go for, Johnson was a machine to catch Valencia but once again, it's the scum and the referees cream themselves over ferguson so not much you can do. good performance, we deserved to win.
 
You just knew Shelvey was gonna snap Evans in that tackle. Fair play to him for not backing out.

However, it cost us the game which is annoying.
 
He didn't cost us the game.

He was a contributing factor. We dominated and scored when we were down to 10 men

Glad someone else has said it. This is where Rodgers needs to earn his corn and get us to the point where we're not shooting ourselves in the fucking foot every game.

The goal scoring thing is bad enough without handing our asses on a plate to the opposing team every other week.
 
This week we won.
But Skrtel and Reina both made howlers.
This needs to get better, or we are never beating good teams.

Whilst it's wonderful that we hit the back of the net 5 times, it hard not to feel irritated at the errors we're still making.
We need to sort it out, or at the very least cut down on the frequency at which they're happening.
