Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt has been an integral part of the Holland set-up in the past couple of seasons, but the hard-working forward has yet to convince all of his critics that he's good enough to play at the highest level. Former Ajax and Porto coach Co Adriaanse has now made it clear that he's not a big fan of Kuyt.
"I wouldn't call-up Dirk Kuyt if I were in charge of Holland's national side. He lacks the creativity to play in Oranje's attack. He's not a natural attacker in my opinion," said Adriaanse to De Voetbaltrainer.
"I wouldn't play with the formation Holland use at the moment either. Netherlands have always been a very attacking team and I'd bring back the typical Dutch style.

Haha, I can see his point when you're used to technically gifted wide forwards, but now that's a total egg on face quote.
