He also spoke on the whole "Suarez cheat" thing.

Everything I hear from Barnes is measured, intelligent and well said. Surely LFC should offer him some sort of spokesman role? Indeed, more than that, he should be consulted on PR issues.

Barnes is an absolute legend, both when he played for us and now. It's practically impossible not to listen to everything he has to say. He puts certain ideas into words so easily, that most other people would be stuttering and stammering over.

To be fair Barnes was fekin atrocious when he first started out presenting games for Channel 5, I mean seriously shit, it was hard to watch. He's a lot better now, he should be given a regular slot on the LFC channel. Suarez might object though!

Yeah but I meant he should be a major pundit. No-one would disagree with your assessment of his presenting abilities, he was absolutely terrible. In fact he was weirdly bad. I refuse to believe that that's a hard job - I reckon about 90% of people could do it adequately with enough training, but he just seemed allergic to it.

He has deffo improved, it's taken him 10 years but he's got there! He seems to be the only sane one out there. No one else out there that I like other than Didi.
I love Aldo but he's a fundamentalist, if the Taliban were a footie team, he would be their leader, Lawro is just a grade A cunt and when I watch Hansern I know that he did his analysis 2 minutes before the show started and when he talks you just know he is thinking about his hair.

Actually the thing that *almost* grates on me about Hansen is that this is a guy we pay £500k a year (until recently £1m!) to do, from I can see, one easy day a week's work, and he *still* gets time off!! Why the fuck isn't he on it every week? Do his vocal chords need resting or something? It's fucking audacious.

But then I remember that it's Hansen and that it allows him a bit more time to drink red wine and play golf in Portugal and I'm at peace.

Digger was indeed legendarily poor in the presenter's role and is conversely excellent as a pundit, but I don't think that's really a mystery TBH. A presenter is at least partly selling the programme and the channel. Digger is far too bright to be happy in such a figurehead role.

Digger would never be a pundit on BBC or Sky as they don't seem to like common sense on there, just pure drivel and agenda shit. I think Sky hired Ratface thinking (like we all were lets be honest) that he'd be some biased manc bastard. Instead they got someone shockingly speaking common sense and is pretty much regarded as the best pundit out there.
