I find it hard to believe we would have be run this badly had DIC taken us over instead. There's more to it than just money.

Probably more than just money, but they have depth worse than they are able to carry. It doesnt sound like they would throw money after footballplayers when they cant even pay what they are building at home soil....

There was a guy from the City of London on the radio this morning, when the story broke here, pouring cold water on the idea that Dubai is in as much trouble as all that. For one thing he said that the problem was one of current cash flow, not general creditworthiness, and for another he said the United Arab Emirates wouldn't let one of their own go to the wall even if it looked likely.

You had the foresight to spot the impending global financial meltdown and instead of landing us in the cart with Dubai, you made sure the financial security of the club was put first and our new owners would build the much needed stadium straight away. That took incredible predictive powers.
