Still, got to meet Sunny and Red Mullet and saw Anfield on a European night, albeit an incredibly muted one. It's my first Champions League match and while it wasn't the best, I still felt lucky to be there. I'm sure there are plenty on here who would have killed to be in my place.
I would have liked to have stuck around for drinks at the Harry but my mate wanted to get off. Probably a good idea seeing as I've only just got in and have work first thing. For some reason there were roadworks on almost every motorway on the way back. Single lane for much of it.
I'll be back up there soon enough for a league game, although I'll be making a weekend of it, I suspect. Was all a bit rushed for my liking.
