David Moyes

What he doesn't seem to appreciate is that he's dealing with hacks who were banned time and time again by Ginsoak and they're determined not to let another monster emerge at that club, so he's got no hope if he thinks he's going to keep snubbing them. Keep it up, Dave!

Can anyone see him throwing the towel in?

He clearly cant handle it and its hard to believe things will get much better this season, he must know he looks and sounds like a clown and that the mancs are a complete laughing stock.

Obviously theres money but that 6 year contract must have some clauses in it to prevent paying up the whole contract?.

It's unravelling too quickly. We need Moyes there over the summer at least, to put off potential signings and start to 'embed' long term decline.

I think he's going to try to go into 'hedgehog mode' and curl up and ignore everything for the rest of the season in the hope that in the summer he gets lots of money to revamp the squad. But, encouragingly, he seems unable to block it all out.

Only if he leaves of his own accord as opposed to being fired, would be my guess. So no, I don't think he'll jump before he's pushed, if indeed he does get the push.

He looks like he's starting to crack.

It was the last thing I expected tbh, I'm sure it as the last thing Fergie & the board expected too.

That bit about the stewards having a pay cut if they don't make the cl tells you all you need to know about football now though. The players pick up literally hundreds of thousands each yet the stewards on not much more than minimum wage are expected to take a pay cut if the team doesn't perform.

It'd be funny if it weren't so pathetic.

Yeah, in a few weeks time theres a very good chance they are out of Europe and have 0% chance of 4th place, then what?, i guess what Macca says about hedgehog mode will be the only real option, hes going to be getting soooooo much more stick though and will have no creditable defence to any of it.

I'm sure you're right about what Ferguson's expectations were (the board will just have done what he told them) but you can bet nobody thought the wheels would come off as spectacularly as they actually have, so they all find themselves in a situation they didn't see coming.

That bit about the stewards is disgusting. I hope they're unionised and the union plays hardball. Manure could do without that kind of publicity.

I think he's doing fine, given the situation he's in. It's exactly where any other manager bar Mourinho would have been. Also, every manager goes through periods when they look like absolute fools. Even Ferguson and Wenger did. He's also right that they were unlucky against Fulham.

It's in the summer + 2nd season on that the wheels really start to come off. That's when he can do permanent damage a la Roy Hodgson. That's when Ferdinand / Vidic / Evra / Chicharito / Nani go together with all youthful promise and he buys gems like Konchesky, Poulsen, Jovanovic and Joe Cole to replace them. That's when their attacking verve will finally be emptied out of their souls and Felliani made club captain with Wayne Rooney choosing the first XI.

Oh those will be gloriousss days.

Some good points there but "fine" is pushing it. Granted they only walked the league last season because everyone else was pants, but they still did it and the sheer scale of their fall from grace this season is greater IMO than you can fully excuse. The Fulham game is actually a case in point - their bad luck was ultimately of their own making because they persisted till the end of the game with tactics which were manifestly failing.

As long as we get CL and they don't then his job is done, anything else is a bonus.

Obviously would love him to be kept on but if he isn't it won't be that dissapointing as long as the above happens, it will still be a mess for whoever comes in after him.

I hope when he does get replaced, that they go for an experienced man to "steady the ship".

Hodgson would be ideal, but Redknapp or someone like that would be pretty good too.

Oh man - If they get humped tonight he's gonna go I can just see it 🙁

That would clearly suck big time. I fucking love David Moyes!

The Chosen One 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

I'm expecting them to draw or win tonight. Incidentally Mata has scored in all four matches he has played against them. 7/2 to score anytime and 11/1 for first goal. Couldnt bring myself to back it though

I'm having a bit of that. We can't lose as fans tonight.

Let's hope he's gonna use football manager again for his tactics and scouting players

They'll sign Freddy Adu in the summer

The rumour from a few of my manc mates was he has a clause stating he couldn't be sacked in the first two years of his contract. Could be bullshit, they could have said no, or it could be music to our ears.

Is that even a legal clause?
