Ok folks, here goes, pick a date & time the old duffer will leave our club.

It's decided by either the press conference time or the lengthy Ian Cotton statement announcing the end of his tenure, whichever is released first by the club.

I go for tomorrow, Friday 7th January 2pm.

Closest to the pin wins. As for a prize, it's, erm, an iPod. Not a real one like, a existential one that exists only in the collective minds of SCM.

Today at 16:00 GMT.

Can I download all Roy's press comments as podcast an listen to them before I fall asleep if I win?

whats roy severence package going to be? if it is huge, can we not move him to another role on the same wages and hope he resigns?

I reckon he will resign at 10 am. If he doesnt he will be sacked at 11 am. If none of this happens then the club continues to weaken and drop into the mire until he is cut out like a cancer.

He has taken us to new depths, and it will take a lot of work to even get us back to last seasons levels.

He deserves no pay off but he'll get a pretty hefty one.

We should pay his contract up in full and give him a bonus for shredding his credibility by overpromoting him and effectively retiring him from Football management.

Monday the 10th of January at 2pm. No point letting a new manager start off by getting molested by United.

what about gross misconduct?

He deserves some cash on the way... Afterall he woke up one morning, saw himself in the mirror, and immidiately told the press that we have more expensive failures than bargain signings here. It take courage to admit that.!!

There is talk he will be here for the UTD game, which tbh is fucking ridiculous.

Talk about getting beaten even before the game is about to played. He should be let go today, Kenny or Rafa installed, could help lift team spirits.

Arguably Kenny would lift team spirits more so.. However Rafa would arguably be more equipped to deal with UTD..

He's part blame for this mess.....I just don't get it with some people!!
Yeah lets bring back Rafa, he might just get the best outta that mid table dribble he assembled.... dear fucking god.

RT @thisisanfield: BBC Sport reports that NESV are now considering whether to sack Roy Hodgson "but no decision has been taken yet".

I am not saying for the long term as there is no other viable alternative at present other than Dalglish, which tbh is just as big a risk as installing Rafa.

He would do a better job than the current status quo though.

It's the only viable solution really. It has to be today.

I think we all win if that is true.
