Probably bull, but a lot of talk in the papers about Sturridge moving to London and Arsenal.
Arsenal fans seem to be with it, despite expressing concerns regarding his injury history. (Arsenal mania forum: http://arsenal-mania.com/forum/threads/daniel-sturridge.28827/)

£30 million according to the papers.

Would you take it?

Sturridge is probably my favourite player along with Coutinho but I really wouldn't sell unless we're getting a striker close to his capacity. I'm talking fucking Suarez level.

Don't think Origi is ready to be first choice ahead of Sturridge. Obviously he's more suited to certain games.
 
Has there been a lot of talk? A couple of speculative articles last week, but thats about it right?

Just a hypothetical question. Considering that I didn't see anyone throw their shirt into the crowd or looking emotional or anything during the lap of honour yesterday, kinda makes me think that Klopp hasn't sat down with anyone yet.

Not a chance, only if such a deal would be better for us..

I think the owners made that crystal clear with Suarez..

Sanchez or Ozil in return or do one..

I said a rival for the Top 4. not Potential Title chasers that can throw the money at the players...


And on each occasion we came out Better in those deals.. Meireles wasn't an 'A list player' either..

Talented players right enough, but neither of them actually wants to be playing in the Prem. Straight cash deal only please and I wouldn't even return their calls for less than £40 mill.

we will be in a far better position next season, their is no way we will sell our best player to rival if we want to maintain that position..
 
He's got a very chequered past with regards to injuries. He went through a pretty great period of fitness (for him) before Roy ruined him on England duty last year.

Now, he seems to be on a good run of fitness once again (just in time to be Roy-ed at the Euros...) Does there come a point with a player with Sturridge's history where you can say - with proper management - that his injury problems are largely behind him? Obviously, I'm not saying that time is now, but I bet the feelings towards selling him are different for a lot of fans now than they were 6 months ago.

Gerrard had a lot of niggling injuries during the early part of his career, but with the correct support and programme he put them behind him. In contrast, you could say Owen never really got over his injury problems.

I wouldn't sell him. Despite him seemingly not quite being hardworking enough for Klopp's taste, he is the best and most consistent finisher in the squad. We've heard all about the intensity of training yet he's stayed fit for 2/3 months now, I want to see what he can do next year after a pre-season and some proper time working with Klopp, rather than working on his fitness as has largely been the case this year.

Granted this season is an aberration with Leicester winning and Spurs finishing 2nd, but pretty much everyone in the league from 1-9 are top 4 rivals atm.
 
We're going to be a bit short up front if we're selling Sturridge, Benteke and Lallana aren't we?

Even Coutinho has been mentioned.

Depends on if he can work his socks off in game after game. Gegenpressing don't work if all the players can't help out in defense. He can't be just an attacking player.

I think that he will be sold because he don't fit the system Klopp plays. He is great in attack but shit tracking back.

I would go higher. 50-60m. How much is CL qualification worth?

If Sturridge plays 75% of next season fully fit, we qualify for CL and maybe potentially challenge for the league. I know the chances of Sturridge being fit for a majority of next season is very small, but given the amount of money we have wasted, Sturridge is worth the risk.

As long as he scores goals, dont care about his all round gegenpressing. And it is not as if allround game is poor. His record when fit is on par with LFC legends.

If he can't help out in the gegenpressing then the system won't work, it is as simple as that. His goalscoring record is fantastic but Klopp will never play a player week in week out in the starting XI that isn't a team player and/or can't work his socks off in every game.

Can't see Sturridge stay if he isn't the number one choice and how many believe that he will be that next season?
 
Suarez did all of the pressing for sturridgr, whilst we wont get another Suarez qe might see another workaholic up alongside studge
