Any notable issues?

I don't think Awoniyi has a work permit, so he couldn't even play if we wanted him to.

Woodburn and Ojo are a bit of a stretch too. We'd probably have to be in quite dire circumstances to consider them given how they've largely failed to impress.

What happened to Ojo? He looked good when he got a couple of cameos in the first team a few years ago.

If we we actually willing to give Elliot more than 3 mins at the end of a game I’d be less worried about the wide forward roles. That is surely the main gap if we trust at least one of Hoever/SVDB/Koumetio/ Phillips to deputise as fourth CB

I thought Ojo had been released.

Obviously we need another forward, we're not too badly off otherwise.

Apparently he's still here and being linked with Reading. Getreading.co.uk says he's been told he can leave on loan or permanently
Reading? They don't have any money. Having trouble paying us for Ejaria atm.

Yeah - it would be nice to add to the front line in wide areas - particularly left.

Origi tends to fill in out there, rather than the centre - but something better to cover Mane would be good.

Impressive how these young footballers take it on themselves to develop their education. He'll soon be ready to take on the challenge of Writing

Sorry to disappoint you, but I clearly meant he was getting a tattoo.

Edison Cavani is still available. He is a proven goal scorer. It will mean adapting the style of play. Or The club does a deal with Salzburg and does a cash plus player transfer for Parson Dako

No point having Minamino and Origi as cover for Firmino when Origi is always on the left....so scrap Woodburn entirely and put [Origi] there instead although I'd prefer if Minamino was cover for the left side as that's his natural position.

The other covers are fine, I did want a back up at RB but that was before we saw the quick progression of young Neco.

Edit: Actually looking at it again a left sided CB would be ideal.

Having Karius' name there is an insult, and Ojo Awoniyi should be the others removed.

Ojo? Ejaria for sure. 55 games for them so far and they want to pay us £3m + bonus. At least they did prior to the the shut-down. However he's gone back again so clearly it's still on in some shape or form.

Have to say I’m most excited about seeing more of Curtis Jones this season. In his appearances towards the end of last season he showed great qualities - always made himself available for a pass and was a willing runner into the box. I’d expect a few goals from him if he gets enough minutes.

[article]Wales U21 manager Paul Bodin is backing Liverpool winger Ben Woodburn for a big season ahead.

Woodburn has been called up to the U21 side for their upcoming Euro 2021 qualifier against Bosnia & Herzegovina.

The 20-year-old, who was loaned out to Oxford United last term, missed most of last season through injury.

Bodin said: "Ben's had a difficult time.

"I always tell the players that professional life is a rollercoaster.

"You have your high and your lows and you've got to stay pretty balanced in between.

"Hopefully Ben will come back in and he'll add to our squad for sure.

"He had a tough time, albeit it got better last year when he went on loan to Oxford and played a lot of games there and I watched him a few times.

"He's started to believe in himself again and hopefully after a good pre-season for Liverpool he'll be raring to go for us."[/article]

Even if he's not, Mane and Salah are capable of playing through the middle. I don't think Salah is too far away from being moved there more regularly.

Yeah, he played there a few times last season. Not to mention that he swaps places a lot during the match and plays up front.
