Crystal Palace v Liverpool - Match Thread

He wants top goalscorer as much as Salah.

Yeah there's a few ego's knocking about. Always been a bit of rivalry between Mo and Sadio. Don't think they're bests buds. Bobby was the one who could've been narked, he was on a hat trick and it would've been a great boost after some indifferent form. But hasn't the Boss managed the team brilliantly through this spate of injuries.

For the first time in years, I think I'm watching MOTD tonight. Even that smug twat Line-acre won't put me off.

(By the way, Michael Owen was spot on earlier today, likening Bobby to bass player Derek Smalls in Spinal Tap, providing the crucial lukewarm water between the fire and ice of David St Hubbins (Sadio) and Nigel Tufnell (Mo). He didn't actually say those names, as he famously never watches movies, but that was what he clearly meant.)

If you seriously imagine anyone would want away after being part of that display today, I'll have lots of whatever you're smoking.

And "feel for Roy" my Arsenal, not after the old coot's behaviour towards the end of his time at LFC. Bugger him with a bargepole.

Mane likes to think that he is "Top Dog" when it comes to scoring, and we have seen this, the disgruntle behaviour" from him at times in the pass..And today he was as bad as I have seen him. He felt that three was more goals for him and was not happy being subbed, and did not look like winning the way we did cheered him up in and was, shape or form

The more you look at Trent's pass to Hendo, the more it looks like someone else could play it wrong. It's such a perfectly weighted pass.

What was Bobby doing taking a flying kick at Robbo after the 3rd goal..obviously some kind of in joke...could've been Robbo had accidentaly caught Bobby in training and Bobby was having a bit of a joke about it.

And what was said to Mane...as he was walking off moaning, something was said to him as he turned round to the lads and said something back...probably Hendo as Hendo was seen having slightly animated words with the Boss at full time....was it..

" Tell him to stop moaning, we all pissed off with it, he does it every time.."

I thought Mane should've been the one rested, he looked knackered in the last 10-15 against Spurs. They were out of it down the left and Mane didn't have enough left to punish them.

It's his traditional celebration. I dont think there's any relevance to it being towards Robbo, but I also noticed it got a little close.

I also wouldn't make anything of Mane being a bit disgruntled. It was after 51(?)mins after all. It was entirely right to do so imo though.

From the camera angle I watched it on it looked like a terrible pass! And then suddenly Hendo appears and he's in acres of space to shoot. I like having Neco but Trent has really become confident in his passing and it helps us a lot

Nah he does that for heaps for goals.

Compare that to the clusterfuck Palace made of their simple chance in the first half.

He attempted the same pass a bit earlier in the match and I was annoyed at first thinking it was a difficult pass to get right but Trent has the ability to do it perfectly and should takr more care to do so.

Then he went and did.
