Back to Spain. Real Madrid if they sell Benzema? Back to Atletico? Good news if true. Beast of a player and will be hard to replace. Although with Roman's pockets full of ill-gotten gains they'll probably get someone mint.

No chance of him going to Atletico, they don't have the money, even with Mandzukic and Silva likely to go.
Re Madrid, they'd be most likely but can't see it. Chelski would want a top level striker to replace him with, and that's not falcao.
You get the feeling that mourinho was pissed off with him quite a few times last year. But then again he was with hazard too at one point.

The Chelsea fans think it's crap. I've not seen WHY he'd move - he was talking about scoring 30+ goals next year on their bus tour ...

If he leaves, it's to Real (Athleti cannot afford him without a p/x with Greizmann) ... and they're talking to Falcao (and linked to BEnteke too)

This would be suicide by Chelsea, he's been sensational for them and they should build the team around him and Fabregas.

The story is he's homesick, and I sometimes think we dismiss such factors too flippantly on here. When you have as much money in the bank as top-class footballers have, you can afford (literally) to pursue other priorities if you want to.

I don't see it making a huge difference whether he stays or goes TBH. They have the money to get whomever they want, and they have a manager who - whatever one thinks of him - is a past master at signing the right players and integrating them once they arrive.

I think all the money in the world doesn't guarantee signing a player like Costa.
He's a brilliant striker with the heart and team spirit that every manager could only dream about having.
Back to back titles he's after winning which is no coincidence.

If Ballotelli had half the fight Costa has we'd have a top striker on our hands.

All of that is true, but not just true of Costa, and the combo of Chav money and Mourinho's eye for a player will carry them easily over this if he does go. Unfortunately.

Costa probably is the definition of a Mourinho striker though.
He's perfect for them.
Players like him are exceptionally hard to find these days.
They will have enough cash to throw at the problem if it does happen but they'll struggle to find an adequate replacement for a player that fits them so well.

Load of bull. He's staying and I don't see him as a RM type of signing anyway, street bully - not flash enough for them. He's already at the best place for the type of player/person he is.
