Agree, Forlan was awful last night and has been for much of the season. Looks as you said very much like a player past his best. I think he will go for a big pay day somewhere.

I read somewhere that he broke up from his bird (They were engaged - some model) and it wrecked him mentally. The tabloids said she split from her due to him cheating on her with some dude. Both of them denied it.

I bet he's 'back' next year.

We should sign him and Kevin Nolan to keep him happy and motivated.
 
I'd rather him have a good rest after Copa and come back whenever he's ready and fit enough to play rather than losing him toward the end of the season being tired and injury.
 
Brother in law mentioned last night that (1) the tourno has been tedious beyond belief & (2) Paraguay are in the final without winning a game.

If Perreria then yes... that's his buy-out clause though, I thought he was excellent at the world cup. He can be suspect defensively at times though.
 
Seriously........... if your a defender and Suarez gets the ball close to the goal line in the box how can you not bloody shit yourself. Against sunderland, the scum and countless other times he's shown his control on that end line is second to none and he's done it again a few times tonight. Fuck what Torres did to Vidic...this guy would have him before breakfast!!
