Who the fuck is he?
Who the fuck is he?
I think it's the curly haired guy in "That 70s show".Deserves his own thread.

The way he calmly sat on the bench while City launched assault after assault just tells it all really.
Assault after Assault? You watched the January game in replay mate?
Also more importantly, his name was Skywalker, not jedimastersonLuke Skywalker isn’t a real person.
They had their Irish quotaIf this Irish guy really was related to Luke Skywalker then he’d be in all those movies.
If he wasn't then why did they film all those scenes in Kerry? If this Irish guy really was related to Luke Skywalker then he’d be in all those movies.
Rodgers and Dalglish went together to persuade him to sign with us when a lot of other big clubs were after him.
HahahahahaAlso more importantly, his name was Skywalker, not jedimasterson
Centre backs never get time. He's quite a character. He's very, very laid back in a Dublin way and he doesn't strike you at all as being cocky, but he talks like he's really confident, which isn't a big issue I think. For example, most kids his age at Kirkby, when asked about being called up to the senior squad, will say something like, 'The gaffer' or 'the boss' or even 'Mr Klopp' got in touch, but he'll say, matter of factly, 'Yeah, Jurgen came by...' It's slightly surprising. But he says it in that very reserved way. He's unbelievably relaxed. Maybe he has very low blood pressure! But he's a classy defender with lots of promise, if fans give him more than about half an hour to prove himself!
Bought from fulham and relatively high profileSmalling?
Speaking of which, I didn't realise how much he sounded like a girl until yesterday's post game interview.
He's arguably the closest there is, he stayed there in his development yearsHonestly didn't know. Duh.
Exactly. And when he broke through it was just before the money wasn't it? So you could even argue he was already a mainstay by that time they were a force.John Terry only one that really comes to mind.
Christensen is another but he had to prove himself out on loan.
Centre backs never get time.
It's almost impossible to think of a centre back who came through the ranks of a top 5 side in the last decade, who's stayed there.

There's zero patience for centre backs because they do little to garner praise and small errors can see them picked apart. It's why players seem to bugger off, have a solid career and then get picked back up (as was the case almost with Evans)
Yes. Sadly. And the route to being a CB by serving time as right or left back, like Gomez is currently on, seems less practicable for Masterson, who really just seems, already, an out and out CB. I can't imagine him bombing up and down the flanks for a couple of seasons. I hope he bucks the trend and does get a chance, but as you say it's unlikely.
It's rare for all positions now, but its practically unheard of for a centre back or goalieThat's the case for every position. Kane at Spurs - after several loans and an opportunity created by only having Soldado ahead of him - is an obvious one, but there aren't many at all.
