Is he getting more time to rest after the under 20s? If not, as you say, he would've benefited from going with the squad. He could do with going out on loan.

I fear not. He's got a good range of passing and at his best he can control a game but it hasn't happened often enough so far and he lacks that dynamism that he needs in that central position. Mind you, the coaching staff appear to think he might become a CB, and spent some of last season working with him on that role, but I really don't see that working at all. He's a midfielder, with a much better all-round game than, say, Danny Guthrie or John Welsh had at the same age, but I suspect he'll end up playing for a mid-table team. Then again, fingers crossed, he'll suddenly kick on this season and really progress - I'm an incorrigible optimist when it comes to these things!
No Wisdom played for the u21s.Wisdom went to the U20's and is on the tour so I don't see that's the reason for him not going on the tour also seeing as though Pacheco didn't travel as well.
England U20s captain Conor Coady is excited to join the Blades and is keen to break into David Weir's first team plans.
The Liverpool midfielder signed a loan deal until January at Bramall Lane on Monday and immediately made his debut, playing 60 minutes in the 1-0 victory over Alfreton Town.
"I'm looking forward to what the season has in store for me," said 20-year-old Coady. "It has been a busy few weeks for me, I played in the U20s World Cup, had a couple of weeks off and when I reported back to Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers called me in and said I was coming to Sheffield United, which I'm really excited about.
"I had the option to go on Liverpool pre-season's tour before coming here but I told them that I would rather get over to Sheffield United as quickly as possible to meet the lads.
"The aim is to play as much as I can, I want to break into the team as quickly as possible but I know it is going to take some fantastic performances because there are some great lads here.
"Brendan Rodgers was pushing for me to go out on loan and get some games and he says that David Weir is going to be a great manager, so I'm looking forward to working with him."
Scouser Coady rose through Liverpool's youth ranks and was captain of their U21s team last season. Additionally, he has played for every England at age group from U16s to U20s and was skipper at the FIFA U20s World Cup this summer.
“Conor is a good all-round player and technically very strong,” Weir said. “He‘s comfortable in a variety of different positions.
“We’ve got to thank Brendan (Rodgers) and a few others at Liverpool for making it possible for us to have him.”
“We were very pleased with him,” Weir said. “He did everything we asked.
“Technically, Conor is very strong. That’s evident and it was one of the reasons why we wanted to bring him here.
“He’s comfortable in different roles which gives us more flexibility and eager to learn which is also a good sign so we’re looking forward to working with him because the more competition the better.”
