Lots of paper talk on Sunday saying that Clyne is not happy playing for Klopp and has been offered to Barca. I expect this is probably a load of rubbish although sometimes there is no smoke without fire. Usually the player ( or his agent more like ) damps down false speculation, but not yet in this case. What do you think - load of bollocks or are we going to lose a really good solid fullback approaching his prime.

Clyne's clearly unhappy with Klopp's "hands-on" approach.

It would make no sense at all for us to sell our one dependable full back.

I can't believe he only got about 52 games last season. I'd be wanting out myself if I was so underused.

The story was posted on here. The cheeky tw@t was quoted as recommending Coutinho to move there at the same time.

We 'offered' him to Barca?

"Here, you're shite and we don't want you as we're trying to secure top 6 again, we're going to see if the best team on the planet will take you off our hands."

This is all very bemusing. Regardless of the source, isn't transfer gossip better when it seems at least slightly plausible?

Clyne was arguably our best player last season. Selling him would be totally mental. Unless he really doesn't like Klopp manhandling him and squishing his face
