Immobile has got 3 league goals.
That season he had for Torino looks more like a one off so far in his career unless you count a season in Serie B were he scored a lot of goals.
At 25 and probably 12 millish fee I cant see what he'll contribute with that Ings or Hernandez cant give us for 5 mill or free.

Ings has 9 goals in the 32 games this season, Immobile has 10 from 28. If you are discounting the good season Immobile had in Seire B then you should do the same for Ings in the Championship last season. Meaning while Immobile has had one great season for Torino (a one off as you say), Ings has never had a season where he has been anywhere near that level.

Id take Hernandez on a free, but hes a bit part player and it will never happen anyway.

The big difference is Immobile plays for Dortmund and Ings for Burnley.
One is the second best team in Germany the other is a clear relegation candidate in the PL.

You'd expect a striker that plays for Dortmund to get goals. He has 3 in 19 league games.
He's record for Italy is the same 11 games and 1 goal.

Ings has 9 in 31 for Burnley. Given how shite they are thats quite good numbers.
In his first season in the PL.

Paying 15 mill for Immobile at 25 years old or 6 mill for Ings at 22. Which one is the good deal?

Agreed, but Ings would make a decent back up with potential. He's not the answer to our quality striker search though.
