I don't think Chris Hughton has been well-treated by Mike Ashley. He has got Newcastle promoted and off to a decent start in the Premier League. Ashley shouldn't be dragging his feet about offering Hughton a contract.
 
I think most Geordies would be pretty satisfied with their start so far. They certainly lack consistency, but that's two almighty whallopings they've handed out, and as any fule kno, relegated teams usually struggle to score at all
 
Great coach Hughton, not sure if he's got the brass neck to be a proper manager but that's a super job he's done with Newcastle.
