Chelsea winning title?

Arsenal will probably lose to Utd, plus honestly I'd feel just as if not more sick if Torre's move got vindicated with a premier league winners medal. I'd like Chelsea to go on a 100 year trophy trough we could call the Torres curse.

Can we all just accept that United are gonna win the title.

Tired of speculating about points and results. They're 6 points ahead.
I dont believe for a second that a team of bottlers like Arsenal is gonna beat them.

Even if he gets it, it's kind of just as sweet knowing that he's made absolutely zero contribution towards it, only because EVERYONE knows it. It's not something I'd expect him to bang on about and even if he did, he'd just look like an even bigger cunt.

If Arsenal even draw with Utd this weekend, it opens the door for Chelsea.

And, if Chelsea beat United it's wide open.

I can see United Bottling under the pressure...if the pressure builds...

I can't believe after our crap season, we're still just 7 points off a CL spot. AAAAAAAGH West Ham, West Brom, Wigan and Fecking Blackpool...

I'd love the Chavs to pip the Scum to the title. Maybe Fergie would explode and it would set us up nicely for next season and the race for no.19. The Scum would provide us with a very powerful incentive and I'd back us with king Kenny at the helm.

You can see United bottling under the pressure?

I don't.

I don't think they'll bottle it as such, but I also don't think they're a particularly good team by their own standards and I could yet see them losing enough form for the others to make a race of it. Newcastle showed up their limitations the other night.

Mancs will most likely win the league but it would be oh so sweet if they didn't and ended without a single trophy after all the treble hype a while back.

Chelsea wins title. Torres scores zip. Plays only 9 games, misses the remaining season through injury. Ends up without a winner's medal.

Hmm, grudgingly acceptable.

Torres wants success in Europe above all else. Plus he's been shit for Chelsea.
I'd be ecstatic if Chelsea win the league. And the scums lose in Europe.
That would mean us taking only next season to surpass those cunts with our 19th title.

United have a decent record at the Arsenal's place.

Can't see them slipping up, although having to rotate my cost them.

Chelsea are the side in the best form at the moment.

Sort of like his World Cup contribution...

It will get close if the Blueshite manage to sneak a draw there but i have to say Chelsea have no chance of winning at Old Toilet.

Game on!

all we need now is the bottlers to win the scum..! arr well theres always next season

If the mancs get a point or more against Arsenal then I think the title is there's. I felt like the only chance they and the chavs had was for Schalke to be close in the CL and have them worried or resting players. Now they're basically through to Wembley I think they can concentrate on the league.

I know this mancs team - who are currently heading for the European final and heading the league - are really, really poor but I suspect the fact they've beaten the chavs the last two they've met and outclassed Arsenal indicates dropping 6 points in two games is unlikely.

The only good point regarding Ferguson's side is that Barca look through to Wemble as well and they'll be too good........ hopefully.

Spurs look gone for 5th but, if they can knock City off it'll put some pressure on them for 4th. Big weekend for us. I want 3-0 against the barcodes and a city draw just to make it interesting.

unfortunately i think it's still extremely unlikely, because we're relying on chelsea winning at utd but also very likely having to win it on goal difference, and the part i hate about that is that utd's final game is home to imo the worst team in the league, blackpool. i could honestly see them battering them about 8-0 if the title depended on it. chelsea's final day trip to everton looks pretty touch and go, as well.

i think it's going to be too big an ask.

I agree with the general sentiments of your post but 'extremely unlikely' might be going a bit too far. If Chelsea win at Old Trafford they'll have a minimum of 2 goal advantage and a win by two or more goals would be huge. Mancs really have the perfect final match for shifting the goal difference in their favor though and it would be sickening if they won the title that way.

The Scum will be panic stricken and the Chavs are on the up.

Chavs for the title is very likely at this point. They have the momentum.

I really didn't think this was possible, but if Arsenal can beat United, then Chelsea certainly can. And if they do that, then the title's in the balance again. Would be SOOOO sweet if United somehow failed to win anything this season, after all that talk of trebles a few weeks ago.

Man U haven't lost a home game all season and have actually won sixteen out of the seventeen games they have played at Old Trafford. That is a phenomenal record.
Even if Chelsea were to acually win the match next week, then as someone else said earlier, goal difference would potentially come into play and with Man U having two relatively easy games left, they still would be favourites to be title winners.

chelseas games aren't exactly super difficult either though. providing they don't start torres then they could score a few themselves
I suppose Chelse's home game against Newcastle could have the potential for a goalfest.
Man U have the potential to run riot against Blackpool in their final game of the season at Old Trafford.
I suppose if Chelsea win next week then the title is up for grabs. I suppose if the won by more than one goal that would give them a comfortable goal difference margin heading in to the last two games.

Not necessarily. They've actually won only 5 away games all season.
True JJ. Their away record is very poor.
Don't get me wrong, I will be cheering for Chesea as much as the next Liverpool supporter.. I am just trying not to get overexcited at the thoughts of us being the first to nineteen next season and seeing the look on Fergie's face.
