Overall this looks like a Serie A game - both teams very carefully probing each other’s defensive systems, staying compact and looking for one killer pass to open them up.

Waaaay to high tempo for an Italian game.

The high line terrified everyone last season too yet we had the best defensive record in the league.

If we don't play the high line we concede more chances, & lowers the chance that we can make a chance of our own on the break.

I think we’re the better team. They’re just looking dangerous on the break. Can see them nicking one

The high line is going to be offering Chelsea more than the 2/3 runs beyond they've had so far , a tad concerning

Fab was a defensive midfielder there. He needed to back off and not make the challenge so high up the pitch.

I think we’re looking encouraging. Bossing the game but just need that goal to break them and open them up.

That’s more like it, we’re making Werner defend as an auxiliary LB. That’s where we need to keep him.

Fabs is staying close to Werner, because he knows that he won't keep up with his pace.

Yep. He can't risk backing off him cos he got skinned in the first few mins doing that, can't run ahead cos he'll lose him, so has to stay close when he's deep.

Have to say, Reece James has really kept Mane quiet. Firmino and Gini have done nothing.
