I don't think the front three are far away at all from firing and putting this lot to the sword, they just need to do it before they get a second.
 
1-0 down at halftime. We need to sort ourselves out. Some dreadful decision-making and haven't made the keeper work at all.

Decent half, should at least be level. Some poor decision making and some poor finishing.

All to play for in the 2nd half.
 
Frustrating but somewhat predictable.

For all the shit Salah has gotten in this half, at least he's making shit happen (even if he's ultimately fucking it up at the end). What have the other two done in this half?
 
At the moment this season Studge is the only one who you'd trust to make the right shot selection. The three on the pitch are making shocking decisions. We would have been three up if they were on form.

Hmmm... the shot bobbled as soon as he shot....

I’ve seen em saved but... nah it was a good goal..

Oddly enough although they are winning 1 nil I think we edged the first half...

I hope we can stick some of these chances away next half.

It reminds me a little of those old Chelsea games under Rafa, ya'know where we'd have loads of possession and 'control' the game whilst Chelsea sit back and score a few on the break.
 
How the fuck are we behind ? Poor decision making and execution (particularly Salah) because we are creating the opportunities. Salah especially never really had enough room to go around the keeper - he should have just shot under him, from that close the keeper would've had little chance to stop it.

Although I hate being a goal down to Chelsea and suffering listening to Martin Tyler...

I dunno...

Maybe I’m getting optimistic in my old age...

Disagree. He is making the forward runs, can't be in two places at the same time. Just give credit where it's due - the ball broke for Kovacic who made a fine pass and Hazard a fine finish (though I think Becker covered his near post a little too well, Hazard was always going across him as he usually does).
